The Tuf Treads story began in 1979 when the company was founded by Michael Rees. The company started with one small workshop offering tyre services and retreading to provide the best value and most sustainable experience for retail and fleet customers in Llanelli. Today, Tuf Treads has now grown to a large business providing tyres for all types of vehicles from cars to tractors, as well as spare parts and tyre management services across Wales and rest of the UK. In 2017, Michael’s son Dan, after years of building his industry knowledge and driving the companies growth, took the reigns, working hard to ensure that not only Welsh business have the best service and value but also that this family-run business continues its success into future generations.
